Please accept this letter as formal notice of my resignation from my position as Marketing Manager at Acme Inc.. My last day of work will be November 13, 2026. This serves as my two weeks’ notice.
Due to health reasons, I am no longer able to continue in my role.

Tips for your resignation letter due to health reasons
- Keep medical information private. "Health reasons" is sufficient.
- Check whether leave (such as FMLA in the US) or disability accommodations could be an alternative before you resign.
- Ask HR about benefits continuation (such as COBRA in the US).
- If you are able, offer a short handover; if not, say so plainly.
